Robert Q is proud to announce our first Photo Contest! It begins October 1, 2007 and ends July 31, 2008. Each month the top 3 submissions will be chosen and move on in the competition. At the end of the competition the top 30 photographs will be displayed at next years Travel Expo and YOU will get a chance to vote for your favourite. The top 10 chosen by the public vote will then be judged and the winning three photos will be announced on the Sunday afternoon of the Travel Expo. E-tickets
E-tickets (electronic tickets) can save you time checking in at the airport and now they can save you money too. Many airlines are now charging for paper tickets. $40.00 for every paper ticket issued regardless of where you purchase it. Airline Commissions
Travel agents look for bargains, comparing one airline against another, keeping them all honest. No airline reservationist is going to tell you that they've found a better fare on another airline - only a travel agent will do that!
With no commissions to be earned, we must charge a fee for our services. Many customers will balk at paying for something that was once free. Many customers will book online or direct with the airline but unless they take the time to shop each airline, each time, many will likely pay more than they have to.
An airline ticket is an airline ticket - it's the service you are paying your travel agent for. Think about this...there is a storm, all flights are cancelled, hundreds of people at the airport are standing in line waiting for an airline agent to book them on the next available flight. You, on the other hand, booked with your local travel agent, one quick call and your agent has you booked on the next available flight AND has made a hotel reservation for you for that evening! You are out of the airport and relaxing in your hotel room while everyone else is still standing in line - THAT'S service!
